Bell was also the Showtime comedian House of Lies' lead actress, Jeannie van de Hooven. Bell starred as Eleanor Shellstrop in the NBC comedy series The Good Place. This role earned her a nomination for an Golden Globe Award. Bell was also the main character on the streaming show The Woman in the house The Girl in the Window, which is across the street from the Girl in the Window.
